+ Glass 3D printing

Buenas,

As of right now we are introducing glass 3D printing on Shapeways.

You can already order these models in glass right now.

The Milky White Glass costs $5.99 per cm3, with a start-up cost of $15 per model. This price is an introductory price valid until the end of June. With this price the model below Emmanuel Lattes' Double Glass Moebius would cost $99.

It's opaque, it's porous and experimental. You can find out how glass 3D printing works & how you can get your design turned into glass here.

One very exciting thing about this is that the glass used is recycled and your models 3D printed in glass are recyclable.

Kind regards,

Joris
